Mike Nielsen Michael J. Nielson, Principal & CEO
Primarily focused on acquisitions and development initiatives for the company, Mike also oversees the structured financing and investor relations for the company. Prior to forming West 77 Partners, Michael Nielson served as the President of Wasatch Commercial Management, a Salt Lake City based real estate investment firm with over $4 Billion of assets under management. Mike is a graduate of Brigham Young University and its J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he earned a Juris Doctorate after graduating in business finance. Mike is a member of the Utah Bar and a licensed real estate broker in Utah and Washington.
Mike Nielsen Todd Lust, Controller
As Controller, Todd manages the company's accounting, accounts payable, and development projects accounting. He is also responsible for forecasting future development projects and operations. Previous to joining West 77 Partners, Todd worked as a project accountant for Vulcan, a Seattle-based real estate development firm whose projects extend to the Amazon Campus and Century Link Stadium, home of the Seattle Seahawks. Todd transitioned to a project controls manager where he forecasted and managed contracts for several commercial and laboratory developments in the South Lake Union area. Todd holds a degree in finance and accounting from Washington State University.
Kerri Findlay Kerri Findlay, Project Coordinator
As project coordinator, Kerri manages the company's contract administration, investor and franchise relations and special projects. Previous to joining West 77 Partners, Kerri worked for Wasatch Commercial Management, a Salt Lake City-based real estate investment firm where she headed the accounting for Washington Square One Towers in Bellevue, Washington. Her responsibilities also included lease management and construction accounting for tenant improvements for all the company's commercial properties in Utah. Kerri holds a degree in finance from Southern Utah University.
Nicholas Gill, Director of Acquisitions
Nic currently manages acquisition opportunities for the company. Nic also oversees the entitlement process for development sites acquired by the company. Nic began his real estate career in 1999 as a research analyst at a global commercial real estate services company and took over the head research position while in College at University of Puget Sound. He has an extensive background in site acquisitions and has represented companies such as Key Bank, Rite Aid, McDonalds, Panera Bread, Regency Centers, Virginia Mason and Morgan Stanley in site selection as well as dispositions of assets over the last 10 years. In 2010 Nic was named one of CoStar Groups Power Brokers for the Puget Sound area.
Matthew Lersch, Senior Project Manager
Matthew has worked for several developers and general contractors for the past fifteen years and joins West 77 Partners as its Senior Project Manager. From his experience working at LCI Consultants, Cobra Construction and Porter Construction he offers expertise in construction management services, schedule preparation and review, change order negotiations, costs control, project estimating, budgeting, forecasting and project management. Matt also utilizes his MS in forensic accounting/business valuation to identify operational inefficiencies, recognize threats from improper structuring and is able to quantify profit losses through financial analysis.
Broc Hendershott, Project Manager
As Project Manager, Broc leads development projects from entitlements and permitting through construction to opening. Prior to joining West 77, Broc has worked in various field and office roles in both residential and commercial construction, most recently as project manager at Charter Construction and Amento Group. He has years of experience in estimating, accounting, scheduling, and contract negotiation and management. Broc received his masterís degree in construction management from Arizona State University.
Aaron Converse, Project Manager
As Project Engineer, Aaron is focused on many different aspects for the team: Jr. Project Manager for different hotel projects, signage, and investor updates. Before he began at West 77 Partners, Aaron worked for Rocky Mountain Pies, in Salt Lake City. His responsibilities were warehousing and logistics for all inbound and outbound products. Aaron earned a double major bachelorís degrees at the University of Utah, in Sports Management and Marketing. While earning his degree Aaron volunteered at Juan Diego Catholic High school coaching baseball.
Darcie Durr, General Counsel
As General Counsel, Darcie helps West 77 Partners navigate the legal landscape and helps keep the company's contractual relationships running smoothly. Before joining the company, Darcie was an assistant city attorney for the City of Bellevue, WA and was a commercial litigator at a large law firm in Seattle. She holds a J.D. from the University of Washington.
Brittany Nicoll, Asset Manager
As Asset Manager, Brittany is responsible for the performance and value of the portfolio, formulating and implementing long range strategies. She has gained vast asset management experience working for Wasatch Commercial Management as the Financial Manager for Washington Square Condominiums in Bellevue, WA. In that capacity she facilitated the sale of over 300 ultra-luxury condominiums and town homes from initial contract analysis to closing. She also managed a highly successful lease to own program. Brittany holds a degree in economics from the University of Washington.
